New China Buffet and Sushi in Byram

Very delicious food

If you truly crave good Chinese food, DON'T EAT HERE. WORST EVER. The London was slimey and cold. The pepper steak was tasteless. Never going back😦😦

My favorite in Byram! They know who I am, know my order and usually ask me where my child is. Very friendly with great food! Not to mention... the food selection is top notch!

1 star because I cant do 0! Just moved to byram so had to try it. 1st visit was so so. Went back 2nd time thinking maybe I went on a bad day. Nope! It was worse. Food was cold and no flavor. Never got a refill and I even asked. So service matched the food. NASTY!!

honestly the worst china buffet me and my family have ever been to. the customer service was beyond awful, the food was tasteless and cold and had clearly been left out for a while(could tell by how hard everything was.) the fruit wasn’t ripe. then when we went to the front to tell them and be polite, the lady simply ignored us and asked for our money. i said have you looked at your reviews? and read them to her. she said “150 people have eaten here today no complain”. i said well good thing this place will be shut down soon. then my daughter tried to ask why she was being so rude, but she called her a “bad girl” and told us to leave. now, anyone besides me ever heard, “the customer is always right”? because this woman sure did the opposite. i honestly feel bad for anyone who has ever eaten here. overall, this place deserves 0-stars. will never be back. take it from me and the other 200 people, don’t even waste your time.

This place is the worst. Bathroom nasty and omg food was cold and nasty. That was a sign then to turn around but I stayed to eat. I get my food and is cold and old. I say ma'am the food is cold and nasty, she says but all these ppl here they eat. Lady I'm talking about me...it's nasty and cold. Donated 10.68..

I don't know if this was a bad night but we went here on New Years eve around 7:45pm mind you they close at 9:30pm the employee was mopping all around our feet the tables and the Buffet area. We had to wait until he was done to get our food.....mostly everything on the buffet bar that we wanted to eat was cold and old, I had to ask for fresh shrimp and rice..I don't understand why do employees clean up a whole hour before the business is closed...I think it's rude to mop over a customer's feet and not have the food replenished and hot.... We will not be going back...I only gave 2 stars because the older lady was nice

Food is decent but I'm forced to watch Fox News they don't even mute. For the love of anything, please turn it to Home & Garden or DIY anything but unmuted right wing claptrap.

Some of the food looked like it was left out too long and my fried chicken wings had a weird taste. I worked in a restaurant for 2 1/2 year and it tasted like they had been cooked in dirty oil

Food is better than it was a few years ago ...it's worth trying out .

Good food, super nice people

Food was raw. Sushi was warm. Drinks stayed empty. Do not recommend. Plus it is over priced. 10.99 for one person. They must think they are Ichiban.

Food was very good and the sweet tea was very good

I went at lunch time and the food tasted like it was days old. The sushi was the same. All the food on the buffet was simply NASTY.

Very nice Chinese buffet. Their service is better than their Engrish. They are welcoming and work hard and that's better than most. Come at their peak times 11 to 1 and 5 to 7 for best selection. The food is consistently good but not brilliant. You don't get brilliant at a buffet. You do get what you want and, it can be fun trying new things.

Staff is very friendly. Food is usually good...although... sometimes seems like buffet food has been sitting out too long.

I love Chinese food this however has to be some of the worst I have eaten. For the most part it's very bland. The chow mein is too thick and chewy. The egg rolls and spring rolls have a strange flavor. Over all I dont recommend this place. Also I have tried this place many times as it's really the only Chinese buffet close by. It seems to get worse every time i go in. Won't be back

I literally went in to eat immediately after opening and the food was not fresh like it was left over from the previous day and put in into the food warmers! The chicken seemed old maybe fried in old grease and extrely burned! Every food item I chose was extremely cool and wasn't even room temperature. When we informed the staff they got offended while one of them stated, "If you want hot fresh food you should order from the menu" and went on further to say "Next time scoop from the bottom of the warmer to ensure 'hot' food" Needless to say I was not at all satisfied and I won't be spending any more money with this establishment! I wish I could give a negative star rating, one star is too much credibility.

Come here like once a week they are always good and its clean...food is fresh

Only 3 stars because some of the spicy meats tried were hard, the salmon was cold, and also more wontons were needed on bar.

Was not pleased with my meal. The rice was gummy and noodles were not done.

Horrible service. Hostess cannot answer any real questions and has no customer service training, they dont pay servers enough so they beg for tips (which is unprofessional). Manager never on staff and has no corporate backing to file complaint. Chinese kitchen right down the street has better quality food for same price.

Worst experience ever. I received under cook wings and was forced to pay full price. “The owner told me everything is fine, the wing is bloody because it was frozen.”. When I brought it to her attention she laughed as if it was a joke and I was over reacting. There was also another customer behind me that stated she had 2 wings that were bloody too. THE WORST!!!

Did not taste good. Soy sauce on table had been out of date for awhile.

Service was horrible and food was nasty and definitely old. I couldn't finish a plate. I asked for a to go cup and they said they don't have any while I'm looking at a lot of to go cups I the corner. I offered to pay and they refused and were pretty rude about it.

Need to paint their walls to add update.

Lunch buffet is affordable and good. People are extremely nice also

I literally just left this restaurant with my daughter. I am allergic to all seafood...and i made sure to stay away. But somehow got a contact and my mouth started to itch. I didn't complain but once i was on my way home i started to feel sick. I vomited as soon as i pulled in my driveway. Very disappointed and upset

Don't do the buffet! I always just order to go and my food is delicious and well prepared each and everytime!

Very welcoming, the food was okay. The bathroom was not handicap friendly, I couldn't make it past the corridor floor which was totally wet with what seemed like the overflow of a clogged toilet. If I had made it past the small corridor filled with a big trash can, I truly believe that the smell ment that the toilet was not able to function properly anyway. Sorry, but everything else was okay, even the waitress bustling for tips. The staff were a super nice team, but if I were to return, the bathroom will be my first stop to make sure my experience with the bathroom was a one time thing.

The nicest and personable staff, even though its only two, at any restaurant I've visited in years. The food is always fresh, with fresh vegetables and soups and at quality prices.

If i could rate half star, i would. Just visited this place for a lunch with family. Walked in, and when we asked about the lack of sushi as advertised, we were rudely told they are not offering it at this time. We begin to eat what little selection is remaining and find that all of the food is overcooked. The fried shrimp was burned and the boiled shrimp was noticably rotten as if left out for days. We were never offered a single refill. Upon recieving the check, we were charged the full dinner price regardless of the fact that we arived and began and finished eating prior to the lunch cutoff, they just didnt get us the check until afterwards.Save your money and go to McDonalds in South Jackson if you are craving this low quality service.

Good food on the buffet. Love the chocolate fountain and the marshmallows on skewers that you can dip in the chocolate fountain! Very good lunch prices.

The workers there and very rude. I called to see if my order was ready after 20 minutes and I was yelled at. They are rude and the health department needs to shut them down now

The food was not fresh looked as if it was out all day I asked could they give a discount she said they had 192 customers that day we was finish eating wat little food they had to offer fresh food was never brought out and we where charged 21$ it was so bad I left my hat trying to get away I was disgusted my hard earned money wasted because I wanted so Chinese
